I am not sure what to write...I will miss Val greatly. I so enjoyed her when she worked with me at the MSUM Counseling Center. She had such compassion for others! What a joy she was to work with and I was so lucky to keep her as a friend after her internship was complete. Val was a warm, kind, joyful woman with much to offer others. Those of us that knew her have been blessed. My heart grieves for her family, especially her daughter. I hope Kennedy will know how wonderful her mom was to so many people. I will miss her immensely!
May the Lord be with you as you grieve your loss of Val.

While I not been in touch with your family, I emailed Valerie lately. She raised no complaint about anything. My deepest condonences to all of your family. Valerie was a special person who will not be forgotten.

...just how much God has done through your life. Those smiles, those quick witted moments, those requests to pray for us instead of for you. So much God has done through you Val and He left you just long enough to get that message through to that last soul He brought near. A message of hope thru a single relationship with God that can remove any obstacle or dark moment in a human life. Man wanted to make your heart whole again but a transplant was complete some time ago and because of that, you will now be forever young.
We love you and will think of you often.
Love you Val.
