Daryn Kirkpatrick A True Blessing March 31, 2009

I have had the privelege of getting to know Valerie and her precious family this past year.  There is no doubt that she will be missed very much by all those lives that she has touched.  Val was a very vibrant and loving person.  She had such strong faith in the Lord and now she gets to spend eternity with Him!  We love you all and we are praying for you during this tough time.  God Bless you for being so selfless and taking such great care of Valerie.

Love,

Travis, Daryn, and Madison Kirkpatrick

Donna Lady From a friend of Genes March 31, 2009

Although I never got to meet this precious person, I am truly grateful to have been included to share in by hearing and seeing her story of life. Life is that precious gift that God gives each of us. The journey that we take in order to make it to His arms is always frought with many choices. It sounds as if Valerie chose well in her journey. My prayers now go out to you, her family and friends. Know that God's plan is totally perfect in its way.

Although we feel that she was taken much too soon, your journey in life will be a testiment to her life and if you honor that life, you will continue to walk in that way that best honors that life. Her family and friends will be able to recall many instances that honor God and give him the glory, I am sure. This I know from knowing Gene himself. Remember that she is at total peace now. God bless you all. Remember that we don't always know who our lives touch and how profoundly we affect others, but you know that Val's life was not lived in vein. She touched so many people that you won't know about. Take comfort and heart that her life may have been short, but was as God designed it, and I'm sure planted seeds that will continue to spread throughout your families lives to come. The memories will bear the fruit of kindness for you to smile back upon in the days to come.

With sympathy for family and friends, but with honor of her life to God,

God bless and Amen.

Donna Lady,

American Fidelity

Valerie was a very kind and loving person who was always there to lend a helping hand. She loved life to the fullest. Family and friends ment the world to her. GOD bless her she rallied to the very end and is now resting in the arms of JESUS.  May GOD bless all of you and ease your pain during this difficult time. So long my friend you will be missed.

Precious friends, Val is a wonderful/faith- filled/delightful woman and you will miss her presence terribly. I am so sorry. Praise GOD for the assurance of heaven for all who know and trust JESUS as Val most assuredly did. YOU WILL BE together again. Because of God's tender mercy, the morning light from heaven is about to break upon us, to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, and to gude us to the path of peace. Luke 1:78-79 no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what GOD has prepared for those who love him. l Corin 2:9 But you will not mind the roughness, nor the steepness of the way, Nor the cold, unrested morning, nor the heat of the noonday; And you will not take a turning to the left or the right, But go straight ahead, nor tremble at the coming of the night, For the road leads HOME. Bonnie Richardson Hinkle Beautiful Val March 31, 2009

I just wanted to celebrate a few wonderful things about such a wonderful woman... Valerie!

I met her at CHA as she was in same class as my older brother, Ryan.

I have fond memories of her running around with Ryan, Jason, Steve, and Kevin!  I guess, she was the only girl who could "hang" with that bunch of rowdy boys!  Always with a smile on her face, and something hilarious to say!  The clown and peacemaker... light-hearted as her soul is!

Later, I recall her playing the piano so beautifully for different people at different occassions.  What amazing talent, that she so eagerly shared with others!

I think it can be said without a doubt, that while here on this earth, Val is one of those rare human beings that never knew an "enemy".... so much laughter, acceptance and love to share with everyone that God brought across her path!  What a legacy!

It has NEVER made much "sense" to me, that such rare angelic persons, such as Val, would be allowed to suffer so in their journey here on earth- and it NEVER will make sense!  I do know, that God is Sovereign, and that this earth, and people that knew Val, while here, are better people because of the "perfect love" Val shared, just like Christ shared while here!

Thank you God, for the priviledge of knowing someone here on earth that exemplified your perfect love!!!!  And Thank You Val, for being a genuine model!

We love you Val... and will strive to continue your example of love to those of us, yet still here on earth!

We rejoice, as you set up "house" in your "home not made of human hands"!!!  II Corinthians

I will miss you Val.  Even though we knew each other for only  5-6 years, I felt like we had been friends forever.  I can remember the first time I met you and Phil at your house in Fargo and you were playing the piano and even the accordion!! I am glad that I was blessed to have known you.  You are a great person and with all that you went through it was such an inspiration that your faith in the Lord never wavered.   I am praying for all of you & Val I will see you again someday.  I love you

God Bless you Gene and your entire family at this time of loss.  Valerie was at the top of my prayer list and the words, "you're prayers were not in vain" gives me hope that our prayers do more than we ever think.  Val is a beautiful lady and we will all be dancing in front our the King of Kings at some point in this adventure of life!  Dawn Deckman Moeller
